A new guide to exploring Nottingham’s rich history by travelling along one of its longest bus routes has been launched.
The ‘History Bus 35’ free guide produced by Nottingham City Transport in conjunction with local historian Robert Howard was launched with the help of one of the operator’s Orange 35 buses that travels on the route between Bulwell and the city centre.
There was a special honour for Robert as the bus was named after him.
“Never in my 74 years of riding on buses did I except to see this – to see one bearing my name. I am fairly chuffed,” says Robert.
