Hollyoaks’ stars Danny Mac and Carley Stenson will lead the cast of Sleepless the Musical, a new musical based on the film Sleepless in Seattle, which will open at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on 1 April.
The musical will then move to the Lowry in Salford and the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin prior to a West End run.
The romantic musical comedy tells the tale of Sam, who moves to Seattle with his eight year-old son, following the death of his wife. When Jonah phones a radio show, Sam is forced to talk about his broken heart live on air, he finds himself one of the most sought after single men in America and a great news story for journalist Annie.
Danny Mac and Carley Stenson will be playing the roles of Sam and Annie opposite Jennie Dale as Becky and Cory English as Rob, with the full cast to be announced.
