Great Scenic Journeys has awarded Morebus’s Breezer and New Forest Tour services its highest “Premium Journey” rating.
The routes were audited for broad categories such as branding, bus-stop information, service delivery, standard of driving, customer services and accessibility and were rewarded with an accolade afforded to only 12 routes in the UK.
Great Scenic Journeys was established this year with more than 100 listings as a one-stop-shop portal to promote scenic bus services and offer potential travellers an expectation of a certain level of journey.
The newly praised routes from the Go-Ahead-owned operator were particularly noted for the standard of care given by drivers. The reviewer says: “The care shown by a driver to a person on a mobility scooter boarding with her carer in taking out the ramp for them to board and alight on their scooter was the best I have ever seen – it was quite moving to see this.”

The Jurassic Breezer in Dorset, Coaster Bridlington in North Yorkshire and the 36 Leeds-Harrogate-Ripon are among the other routes already accredited with the “Premium Journey” rating.
