Andy Turnbull, previously a graduate management trainee, has been promoted to a new management role with Transdev.
He has now become Service Delivery Manager at Transdev subsidiary The Harrogate Bus Company’s depot in Starbeck.
Andy, from Bedale in North Yorkshire, joined the Harrogate-based bus group a year ago after graduating from the University of Leeds’s Geography with Transport Planning Programme.
The Harrogate Bus Company’s General Manager Keith Roebuck, says: “Andy is a first-class addition to our team, and is bursting with ideas to deliver amazing customer service.
“I’m delighted to welcome Andy to his new role with us – he’s a very enthusiastic advocate of public transport.
“He has a keen eye for quality and will steer us to deliver even higher standards for our customers.”
During his training year, Andy has spent time at each of Transdev’s depots across the North in Harrogate, York, Malton, Keighley, Burnley and Blackburn, and has extended his knowledge by working alongside the bus operator’s marketing, commercial, finance and engineering teams.
