Nominations for the 2024 routeone Awards remain open, with those members of the coach and bus industry who are yet to put forward names of potential winners encouraged to do so before the deadline of Friday 12 April.
Only via nomination can individuals and operators be considered by the seven-strong judging panel of industry professionals. The presentation evening will be held on Wednesday 13 November at The Vox at Resorts World Birmingham, marking a change of venue for the routeone Awards in 2024.
That event sits alongside the only UK dedicated coach and bus trade show, Euro Bus Expo, which will be staged at the NEC Birmingham on 12-14 November. The Vox is adjacent to the NEC, continuing the close association between the two staples of the industry calendar.
Those businesses and individuals that have already been nominated will shortly receive an early notification from organiser Diversified Communications. That will include social media graphics to allow them to promote their position.
The next step in the routeone Awards will be an invite to all nominees to enter. Once those entries are received, the judging process will begin. The panel will meet in person on two occasions, with the latter of those including interviews in people categories as part of the final decision-making tasks this summer.
Speaking about the nomination process, Event Director Helen Conway says: “Once again, we have already seen excellent buy-in from members of the industry in putting forward the cream of the crop for the 2024 routeone Awards.
“Nomination is a process upon which the chance of victory relies, and it is a highly important step on the road to recognition.
“With a new venue for the Awards in 2024 and an air of positivity around Euro Bus Expo’s return, November is already shaping up to be the highlight of this year’s industry calendar. I urge anyone who has not yet put forward names to do so before nominations close.”
Separately, Diversified reports that a strong collection of commercial sponsors and partners have committed to the 2024 routeone Awards. Such backing indicates the regard in which operator and individual participation is held, adds Mrs Conway.
