The routeone Innovation Challenge highlights the most significant new initiatives shaping the coach and bus sector. With entries invited until 25 September 2023, routeone is pleased to announce the judging panel for this years’ Challenge.
Aaron Hill, Director of CPT Cymru, joins previous judges of the Challenge Chloe Leach O’Connell, Jon Eardley, Phil Hitchen, and Tom Morgan.
Aaron Hill
Aaron Hill brings to CPT a wealth of experience from membership organisations and the third sector, having an extensive background in policy, influencing and external affairs. His previous roles have covered a wide variety of public services, including housing, regeneration, health and education.

An engagement professional, Chloe Leach O’Connell has worked with the passenger transport industry across the UK for more than 15 years. Passionate about accelerating inclusion and diversity in the bus industry, she is a founder member and Co-Chair of the D&I Bus Group, part of Women in Transport. She says: “I’m delighted to be involved in judging the Innovation Challenge once again. The diverse range of products and ideas are truly impressive, and it’s always a difficult few hours trying to choose an overall winner! I’m really proud to be part of a challenge that showcases how forward-thinking our industry is.”
Jon Eardley

I’m looking forward to seeing the entries and being part of the judging panel again to reward the best entries.”

Tom Morgan joined the industry in 2009 and has progressed through the ranks at Trentbarton to become Managing Director in March 2023.
