Stagecoach East has announced 157 drivers have been awarded Green Road Fleet Elite status in recognition of exceptional standards.
The Fleet Elite technology monitors drivers’ safety and fuel-efficiency performance and calculates a score based on the number of risky events in the last 10 hours of driving.
According to the latest report, 57 Stagecoach East drivers reached “Master” Fleet Elite status for maintaining the highest standards for four years. A further 12 were given “Gold” level, 26 “Silver”, and 62 “Green”.
Ross Barton, Operations Director of Stagecoach East, says: “Our drivers spend countless hours honing their skills to offer our customers the safe, comfortable and environmentally conscious ride that they should expect from us. So, it is a matter of huge pride that so many colleagues have now received official acknowledgement for their ability and dedication.
