Stagecoach Merseyside has surprised a young bus fan with a day out at its Gillmoss depot.

Corey McGregor, 16, spent the afternoon at Stagecoach’s headquarters after the bus operator was contacted by Corey’s headteacher.

Corey and his family were picked up in their own private bus before being driven to the depot where they met other drivers and engineers. The family also received a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities, and Corey was given the chance to sit in the driver’s seat.
