TBC Conversions will complete the move to the VW New Crafter in March

TBC Conversions advises customers that wish to order minibuses based on the old-shape Volkswagen Crafter to move quickly, because it will complete a move to the new-shape vehicle in March.

TBC already has the New Crafter in stock in 3.5t GVW, and it expects the first heavier examples to arrive in March. Until then, it has a batch of 30 old-shape M2 models available to buyers at keen prices.

“The New Crafter-based minibuses will be submitted for EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval in due course,” says Senior Sales Manager Gerard Galvin.

Mr Galvin adds that TBC will also convert the 5,500kg GVW M3 variant of the New Crafter to give a minibus with up to 20 seats and an underfloor lift.

On its stand at CBUK, TBC displayed an original-shape M2 Crafter with 16 Rescroft seats and an Unwin BraunAbility Vista inboard lift. The converter fits a flat floor and fittings include an AMF-Bruns aluminium Smartfloor.
