Novadata’s Convey daily vehicle walk-round check app, which is compatible with most smartphones, now provides a three-in-one service when used in conjunction with the company’s pay-as-you-use digital-only tachograph analysis offering.
Not only does it guide the driver step-by-step through the required daily vehicle checks, but it also provides a summary of tachograph data for the past 30 days, and indicates the driver’s ability to drive.
Any infringement of drivers’ hours legislation or the Working Time Directive is displayed, indicating that the driver is not eligible to drive. Multiple vehicles and drivers can be checked, and the app is ideal for all fleets regardless of size.
It cost from £1 per vehicle, per week, and provides a robust record of walk-round checks, including GPS locations and timings.
All information can be accessed via a secure portal and in real time, making managers aware of defects as and when they arise. Data can be used for internal reporting, and also to demonstrate compliance to enforcement agencies.
If the driver is out of range of phone signal, data is recorded and then uploaded when connectivity returns.
