The Tour de Yorkshire will be causing disruption for buses due to numerous road closures on Thursday 3 May, and Saturday 5 May.

On Thursday, buses will be affected in Beverley, Hornsea and around Pocklington.

Road closures in Beverley will begin during morning rush hour, which may also cause traffic issues in the town.  Service 246 buses will be badly affected in the afternoon, as the race follows the bus route between Beverley and Hornsea. Service 18 may also be affected.

On Saturday, buses will be affected in Scarborough, between Scarborough and Bridlington, and between Scarborough and Pickering/Helmsley.

Buses in Scarborough will be severely affected in the afternoon, with many main roads closed, including in the town centre.
