TruTac has launched TruFleet, a system for the planning and management of coach and bus vehicle maintenance and compliance.
The intelligent software enables the planning, organisation and control of all aspects of day-to-day fleet and O-Licence management. It captures vehicle history, maintenance records, safety inspections, defect reporting and rectification and audit checks, and is approved as part of the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme.
TruFleet provides real-time updates on maintenance schedules, online storage for compliance documents, interactive dashboards and alerts. It is fully compatible with the suite of other compliance products from TruTac and “seamlessly integrates tachographs, walk-round checks and maintenance calendars,” says the supplier.
TruFleet also allows managers to instantly see all planned maintenance events including inspections, MoTs, services, LOLER checks and repairs, says TruTac. Bespoke entries can be created and all weekly calendar events can be created on a single screen.
Tax, insurance and other reminders can be added to the calendar along with tachograph calibration dates. The latter are automatically populated from vehicle file downloads.
For the management and electronic documentation of regular safety inspections, TruFleet allows the specification of future dates, with easy rescheduling. Completed inspection sheets can be automatically uploaded and any failures or advisories can be notified using an IM number following walk-round and driver checks.
Tyre and brake status is recorded, along with details of each inspection that includes a brake test. Other features include simplification of administration when using multiple garages and an easy means to track the number of vehicles authorised on an O-Licence against the actual number in use.
