Madame Tussauds London has renewed its focus on the groups market with the launch of published information for senior visits.

‘Silver stars’ provide tour organisers with places to re-group

Launched at Excursions 2017, the document includes information for group travel organisers on accessibility, lighting and ambient noise.

It's combined with ‘Silver Stars’ placed along the route through the attraction, that give access to seating areas or places to regroup away from the crowds.

It also includes sections on “need to know” (best visiting times to avoid crowds; address; accessibility); “good to know” (time spent at attraction; toilets location; coach parking); and “did you know” (fun facts).

It also draws attention to staff stationed throughout the attraction to answer questions and assist.

“It received an amazing reaction today,” said Suzie Gildon, Senior Account Manager at Merlin Entertainments, speaking at Excursions. “We are so pleased with this and very excited at launching it into the market.”
