UNVI Voyager GT now available with 7.7-litre, 248bhp Daimler engine

UNVI Bus and Coach showed the first Mercedes-Benz Atego-based Voyager GT with the 7.7-litre OM 936 six-cylinder engine at EBE.

It develops 238bhp and the importer believes that it will retain the fuel efficiency of the existing four-cylinder OM 934.

The front axle is uprated to accommodate the extra weight of the OM 936, but the price premium is not significant, adds the supplier.

GVW of the Voyager GT with the OM 936 remains 10,500kg.
