Johnsons Coach Travel, of Henley-in-Arden, has provided 18 of its coaches to transport 900 members of Warwickshire’s Women’s Institute (WI) to Lincoln for their ‘Big Centenary Day Out’.

Johnsons’ Commercial Director John Johnson says: “Warwickshire Women’s Institute is celebrating its centenary this year and as part of this we were delighted to help organise their big day.”

On arrival, members were welcomed into Lincoln Cathedral by the Dean of the Cathedral, Christine Wilson; tourism representatives from Visit Lincoln; and the city’s Mayor, Chris Burke. The arrival celebration was also attended by The WI National Chair, Lynne Stubbings and Lincolnshire North WI Federation chair, Christine Morgan.
