Eastleigh operator Xelabus is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2020 with several special events, it has announced.

Xelabus has expanded its fleet to 40 vehicles since founding in 2010. Says MD Gareth Blair: “It has been quite a journey. I won’t say it has been easy, but the exciting part for me has been growing the business with new services and being awarded and entrusted with many school and college routes.”

Among festivities will be an open day on 19 April and a rally on 28 June. At the latter, other operators including First, Go-Ahead and Stagecoach will also be represented alongside a display of heritage buses.

Additionally, competitions will take place throughout the year and a further summer event for staff will thank them for their efforts, adds Mr Blair.
