Zeelo webinar will show operators the way to partnership

Zeelo is hosting a webinar on 21 October to show operators how partnership with the platform can help to grow business.

The supplier, which largely works with corporate clients and schools to grow coach travel, began proactively seeking partners to fulfil demand after it experienced “unprecedented growth” in the last 18 months.

routeone reported on the challenges this brought in October, where Zeelo co-founder Sam Ryan described how “hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of work” is going unfulfilled as the search for operator partners continues.

Head of Operations George Grundy will host the webinar, which will cover Zeelo and its purpose, how it has grown business with operator partners and the initiatives it is putting in place to assist with the current driver shortage.

“Our model used to be almost entirely reactive,” Mr Ryan explains. “Now we’re proactively building our partnerships ahead of when we really need them and making sure that we agree fair rates.

“At Zeelo, given that we have a significant number of businesses across the UK and that we know what it costs to run a coach operation, we try to agree a consistent price for the operators that we work with.

“We’re adapting that all the time and we’re getting better at it, but that’s why this partner approach is most important.”

The webinar will take place at 1100hrs. Register now.
