Quintuplet of Tourismos joins Bedfordshire operator in 2016 as it celebrates 30 years in business
At the end of 2016 Blunham, Bedfordshire operator Chiltern Travel celebrated a year that saw it place five new Mercedes-Benz Tourismos in service.
Two tri-axles carry Leger Holidays livery and are finished to Silver Service specification.
This pair will be used on a variety of tours on behalf of Leger, while three are 12m, 53-seat two-axle example that carry Chiltern’s colours. They will be used on a variety of the operator’s work, including private hire, school trips and tours.
“We have been established for 30 years now and the new coaches supplement an existing fleet of 12 luxury vehicles,” says Director Joel Boorman.
“Supplier EvoBus (UK) once again came up trumps and offered us a great deal in regards to part-exchanges and delivered excellent customer service.”
