East Yorkshire launch bus subscriptions

A new ticket service launched by East Yorkshire means customers can now download an app for a monthly bus subscription.

Customers choose their zone through the company website, and are then sent a ticket through the East Yorkshire Buses app.

The subscription service automatically renews every 30 days and has no limits on the amount of times customers can travel in their zone.

East Yorkshire’s Area Director, Ben Gilligan, says: “Although we still sell paper single and return tickets on the bus, we find that more passengers like the flexibility of having a pass on their phone which they can use whenever they like.

“Our subscriptions mean you can sign up once and then know you’ll always have a way to travel, without having to worry that your ticket needs renewing.”
