The annual ban on groups of children travelling by coach in France will be effective on Saturday 29 July and Saturday 12 August, in both cases the ban is midnight on Friday until midnight on Saturday, the Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) has confirmed.
As usual, travel from one department to an adjacent one is permitted. For international journeys, this would be taken as the department in which you first arrive in France to the next. This would also permit travel along the coast route from Calais to Belgium.
Groups falling within the ban are deemed as those consisting of 15 or more children.
