Kingstown Works Limited (KWL) has taken delivery of seven Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with Mellor Strata HF bodywork, which it has hired to Hull City Council Passenger Transport Services.
They will be deployed on a variety of work but predominantly urban duties. The need for 2+2 seating was key to KWL, as was ease of use and accessibility.
“We undertook trials with both our client and service users prior to placing the order to make sure the buses met all of their specific requirements,” says Gary Middleton of Kingstown Works Limited Fleet.
