MAN Truck and Bus UK has handed over the first new coach at its recently-opened dealership in Gateshead. It is a Neoplan Tourliner P10 for Atkinsons of Ingleby, one of three Tourliners to be delivered to the North Yorkshire operator this month.

Gateshead is part of MAN’s £20m investment in its UK dealer network. It is specifically equipped to support coach and bus operators, says Senior Retail Coach Sales Executive Matthew Jacob.

As supplied to Atkinsons the first Tourliner is a 13.1m two-axle model with 57 seats and a toilet. It has USB charging points at all seats and a ZF automatic gearbox. The two other examples for Atkinsons will be a further P10 and a tri-axle P22.
