Specialist staffing solutions provider C9 Recruitment has promoted former routeone man Daniel Lunn to the position of Commercial Director.
He joined C9 as Commercial Manager in mid-2024. The supplier has a strong presence in coach and bus and credits Mr Lunn for playing “a pivotal role” in its ongoing success. That has seen the leverage of his expertise in building client relationships and bespoke customer solutions.
As Commercial Director, Mr Lunn will oversee C9 Recruitment’s commercial strategies, drive business development, and further strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders.
Speaking about the elevation, CEO Sam Wharfe says: “Daniel’s promotion is a testament to his dedication and the significant contribution he has made to C9 Recruitment since his appointment.
“His leadership and strategic insight will be instrumental as we continue to expand our services and deliver exceptional value for clients.”
Mr Lunn says that in his new position, he aims to further build C9’s reputation as a trusted partner across multiple industries including the coach and bus sector. The supplier adds that his promotion “reflects the company’s commitment to fostering talent and leadership from within its ranks.”
Continues Mr Lunn: “I am honoured to take on the role of Commercial Director at such an exciting time for C9 Recruitment. I look forward to working closely with our clients and team to drive growth and innovation, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the industry.”
The promotion is a further strengthening of C9’s senior team. In late 2024, the supplier appointed Alfie Rae as Operations Director.
C9 Recruitment connects coach and bus operators with drivers, engineers and back-office personnel to fulfil both temporary and permanent staffing requirements.
