Go-Ahead Ireland has appointed Aled Williams as Operations Manager. He will look after the day-to-day management of drivers, control teams and inspectors who manage the 24 Outer Dublin Metropolitan Area (ODMA) routes across Dublin.

Aled joins Go-Ahead Ireland from First Bus, where he was Operations Manager for Buses of Somerset, based in Taunton. He was previously part of the FirstGroup graduate scheme where he worked in a variety of operational placements around the UK.

“Aled is an experienced Operations Manager who brings a variety of skills to the position, including a deep understanding of the transport sector,” says Ed Wills, Managing Director of Go-Ahead Ireland. “We know he will be a huge asset to our ODMA team and look forward to working with him.”

“I was attracted to the role at Go-Ahead Ireland due to its unique nature in Ireland and the scope it offers me to add value and be part of this newly formed and progressive company”, says Aled.
