JG Travel Group has promoted Joanna Roberts (pictured, above) to the position of Product Director.
It comes as part of a restructure of the coach holiday provider’s senior product management team. That will also see Paul Mason, who has been Product and Operations Director for over a decade, change his remit to Operations Director and reduce his working time to two days per week.
Ms Roberts joined JG Travel Group from Newmarket Holidays as Head of Product in mid-2022. Her elevated role will bring responsibility for oversight of all product development and procurement strategy, contracting, and product administration support.
Her scope extends across all the Group’s brand’s, including Just Go! Holidays, National Holidays, Omega Breaks and US inbound operator Albion Journeys.
Speaking about her new position, Ms Roberts says: “I am really excited about my next chapter with JG Travel Group, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work closely alongside Paul since I joined the business six months ago.
“We have an exciting and diverse product range, featuring some incredible tours and experiences, and I am looking forward to being part of the senior leadership team, developing our product offering further, and helping to drive the business forward.”
Mr Mason has reduced his working week after over 40 years in the coach industry as he moves towards semi-retirement.
“This has been my plan for a number of years, but we needed to ensure that we found the right person to lead our product team,” he explains. “I am confident that Joanna is the perfect individual for this role.” Mr Mason will be supported in his responsibilities as Operations Director by Head of Logistics Richard Oxspring.
