New Adventure Travel (NAT) Group has appointed James Vince as Head of Engineering.

He joins shortly after new Managing Director Adam Keen, following ComfortDelGro's purchase of the South Wales bus operator in 2018.

Adam Keen says: “I am acutely aware that much of the development work we need to undertake within NAT Group relates to engineering.

“James is an experienced and successful engineering manager who, along with the rest of the team, will help us to deliver class-leading bus services for the people of Wales.”

James says: “This is a great time to be joining NAT Group.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to develop our talented local engineers and to develop the business into a market leader within our sector.

“The next 12 months will see considerable improvements across our three sites, including the ongoing development of our team. We are fortunate to have the support of the wider ComfortDelGro business, including their impressive engineering division.

“The combined efforts of their experience and resources along with the local focus in South Wales will greatly enhance the vehicle standards and conditions for the benefit for our customers.”

NAT Group has depots in Cardiff, Swansea and Pontypridd. It also operates coaches, as well as Traws Cymru services for the Welsh Government.
