Robert Andrew takes up new part-time role with Scottish Citylink

Robert Andrew has taken up a new part-time position on the board of Scottish Citylink after retiring from Stagecoach in June. He was latterly the group’s Regional Director Scotland.

In his new role Robert Andrew will also support the Scottish Citylink operations team. Scottish Citylink is a joint venture between Stagecoach (35%) and ComfortDelGro (65%). Stagecoach is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the business, which includes internal Scottish and cross-border Megabus operations

Mr Andrew announced his intention to retire from Stagecoach in September 2019. He joined the group in 1992 as Operations Manager in Inverness and has enjoyed a 35-year career in the bus industry that began with the Scottish Bus Group. Since joining Stagecoach, he has held many other senior positions across the business.

Sam Greer became Regional Director Scotland after Mr Andrew’s retirement.
