Stagecoach UK Bus has juggled some of its regional Managing Directors (MDs) as the group continues its ongoing business change programme.
Four of them will swap positions from Monday 3 February. Matt Davies, currently of Stagecoach Yorkshire, will become chief of the Merseyside and South Lancashire business. Existing head of that area Rob Jones will move to lead the Cumbria and North Lancashire region.
There, Mr Jones will succeed Mark Whitelocks. Mr Whitelocks will become MD of Stagecoach Midlands and will in turn displace Phil Medlicott, who will become MD for Yorkshire.
The group says it is making the changes to provide an “opportunity to have a fresh look at our operations in the north to support our strategy for the future.”
There are no changes to the MD structure elsewhere.
