Around 2007 I started looking into making Whites Coaches a corporate and VIP specialist and I didn’t know where to start.
A phone call to Esker resulted in me talking to Alan White. He helped me and steered me in the best direction for me. I lost my father in 2002, but the way Alan helped me was very father-like and we developed a very good friendship – he became the person I trusted the most in the industry as I started out.
He was a lovely man, who my mother liked very much, which is the biggest compliment anyone could receive – always referring to Alan as a “proper gentleman”.
My memory of Alan will always be his first visit to me and my mother in 2008, when he helped me through the purchase of my first new Executive vehicle. He knew that it was an emotional purchase for me as I tried to put Whites back on the map after the death of my father six years earlier. He also knew it was a gamble for me, and on many occasions during the following few years he got me to slow down a bit rather than over commit too quickly.
He was always my comfort blanket in the industry. I have lost a great friend and the world has lost a proper gentleman.
