‘Don’t get that nasty taste in your mouth’

I have just read last week’s editor’s comment in routeone, and I could not agree more with your comments.

It isn't easy to run a coach business these days, but we have to do it right or not at all – otherwise we would not get our loyal customers back.

These internet companies give us a bad name all too often, and as you said, we are left to pick up the pieces – and deal with the backlash from the customers.

I hate to admit it but I was caught out by one in January this year – City Minibus & Coach Hire CMCH from London. We did all the transfers and more than they asked us to do, and a lot of coaches were supplied, but when it came to be paid they bumped us for £400.

It might not seem a lot, but it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth. We have tried numerous ways to get this money, so please make your readers aware of them: Do not do any work unless you are completely paid up front.
