I was interested to read Peter Bradley's comments on transport in Budapest.
We recently visited there and discovered that any EU citizen over 65 can travel free on the city's transport network – so, if you qualify, you have two years to do so!
We also found Prague's transport system to be excellent. A 30-minute ticket valid on tram, bus or metro costs the equivalent of 70p – great value.
