In Greg White’s article 'Does Driver CPC (DCPC) training need an overhaul?' [routeone/Opinion/3 April], he reports on his attendance at a DCPC training event which was irrelevant to his work.
Did he not check the content of the training module before signing up himself and his drivers?
If he didn’t, then he has only himself to blame.
If he did, and the module did not deliver what was promised, then let him take up the matter with the provider rather than airing his specifically personal feelings of dissatisfaction via a public medium.
There may be much amiss with DCPC, but I feel the regulations that govern it require urgent review before individual providers are criticised, possibly erroneously.
