Contactless ‘tap on, tap off’ is the latest innovation announced by Ticketer

Ticketer’s latest innovation is a ‘tap on, tap off’ concept for contactless fare transactions, enabling operators to offer the most convenient and flexible fares.

It facilitates variable and distance-based charging so that the best fare is always automatically charged. It also speeds boarding, as there is no need to request a ticket.

Operators have access to a wealth of data for accurate scheduling and fare charging.

To support this method of fare collection, Ticketer has developed a second reader for use on dual-door vehicles.
