The new London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) comes into force on 8 April 2019 meaning vehicles must meet the Euro 6 emissions or pay a £100 daily charge.
To comply, operators can reorganise their fleets or buy new coaches to ensure that only Euro 6 compliant vehicles enter the ULEZ. Alternatively, they can retrofit existing coaches – a much more cost-effective option.
Eminox is the market leader in retrofit emissions systems and its SCRT® technology was the first to be approved by the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS), meaning it meets the requirements for the London ULEZ, Clean Air Zones (CAZ) and Scottish Low Emission Zones.
Eminox’s latest generation SCRT® solution combines Continuously Regenerating Trap (CRT) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to produce a system that is proven to reduce NOx and NO2 by up to 99%, and PM by up to 95%.
