Optibus has launched its Performance Suite bundle, which the supplier says will analyse, predict and improve on time performance.
Performance Suite uses real-time analytics through a partnership between Optibus and Ito World to enable users to dig deeper into service data to understand where, when and why issues occur.
That will lead to better on time performance and predictions and more operational efficiencies, Optibus says. It claims that initial customers of Performance Suite have reported up to a 28% increase in overall on time performance while maintaining peak vehicle requirements.
Performance Suite packages two features: Performance Insights and Predictive Runtimes. The former gives users the advanced analytic capabilities needed to draw in-depth data from network performance and identify underperforming areas.
Predictive Runtimes enables them to do what Optibus says is “validate timetable quality, generate new running times and timetables that meet on time performance goals, and predict on time performance even for new routes for which historic runtimes are unavailable.”
