Stagecoach has signed a deal with Autoglym that will see the automotive care brand supply exterior and interior cleaning materials to over 100 depots across the group’s UK mainland bus operation.
Autoglym will provide cleaning chemicals for all disciplines, including workshop floors. The deal will also see the supplier install and maintain dilution equipment at each depot. That will match Stagecoach’s health and safety objectives, optimise product performance and ensure accurate cost control, says Autoglym.
The products that are to be supplied to Stagecoach as part of the deal come from the Autoglym Professional range of dedicated coach and bus cleaning materials. Among them is Extra Deep Clean. It is a multi-purpose product that can be used for everything except the main external wash. It is utilised on vehicles’ interior surfaces throughout, as well as in the vehicle pre-wash and on workshop floors.
Says Head of Autoglym Key Accounts Paul Rowlands: “This is very much a partnership with a long-term vision and it is about a lot more than just cleaning chemicals. It includes a full Autoglym Professional support package and a dedicated PSV market offering, from the products to our dedicated PSV technical specialists and account managers.”
Autoglym says it can supply tailor-made packages to all coach and bus operators.
