Reducing pollution in Germany will likely include plate denoting Euro level

Air quality and restrictions on diesel vehicles is a hot topic in Germany, and Green-Zones advises operators that all information on such environmental zones is available on both its app and its website.

Hamburg and Stuttgart have already revealed restrictions and it is expected that more will follow in other cities; Osnabrück is among them. Some limits are likely to be as severe as Euro 6-only.

The German federal government has also announced the possible introduction of blue badges that will indicate a vehicle’s emissions standard.
