Ticketer completed the roll out of contactless ticket machines across Arriva UK Bus’s 3,500-strong fleet in just six months – a new record for the supplier’s implementation team.
The machines provide Arriva with access to key information about how buses are used, enabling it to respond to changes in demand.
That data helps Arriva to drive a myriad of additional systems, such as real-time information and its app.
The back-office function provides real-time information on transactions and bus locations, and messages can be sent to drivers.
