Vision Systems has launched its Smart Vision rear view camera monitoring system. The manufacturer says it is lightweight and compact, optimising visibility when compared to standard mirrors.
Smart Vision guarantees a stable image in any driving environment, with no vibration. It can also suppress the A-pillar blind spot and act as a parking or manoeuvring aid.
In coach applications the product is claimed to cut fuel consumption by up to 5% via a reduction in wind resistance. It also removes the potential for costly mirror damage.
