With immediate effect, VDL’s Futura 2 warranty is three-years/300,000km

VDL confirmed at Busworld that it will be supplying the FHD2 at 13.5m on two axles to UK buyers via the Moseley group of dealerships.

“This is a money maker,” says Business Manager Coach Pieter Gerdingh. “13.5m is long, but two of the FHD2’s characteristics are its manoeuvrability and its lightweight nature.”

The turning circle for the FHD2-135 is 23.5m, which Mr Gerdingh says compares with competitors’ 13m coaches.

VDL is already seeing requests for the FHD2-135 from UK operators. It will have up to 61 seats and, as with the entire Futura 2 range, a three-year/300,000km warranty.
