Castleford-based Pelican Bus & Coach has recruited Ian Downie to lead its growing bus sales operation, as Head of Yutong Bus UK.
It follows the launch of the zero emission Yutong E12 bus and the imminent arrival of the E10 electric midi bus.
He took up his new position on 8 November.
Mr Downie (pictured left) has 35 years of experience, having held senior positions at Volvo Bus and more recently as Managing Director at Wrightbus.
