The UK Coach Operators Association (UKCOA) has announced a new membership offer of 16 months for the price of 12.

Effective immediately, it aims to bolster the UKCOA community by inviting new members to enjoy extended benefits until February 2025.

Recognised as the sole trade association dedicated exclusively to coach operators, UKCOA represents its members on a wide range of national and local matters. They include PSVAR, advancements in vehicle technology, issues surrounding fuel and coach infrastructure in urban areas, and enhancing driving standards and
employment conditions within the industry.

The offer is expected to attract a broader membership base, strengthening the Association’s advocacy role. Anthony Marett, proprietor of operator Marett’s Chariots and Chair of UKCOA, emphasises its influential position in the industry.

“UKCOA is recognised as an important voice. We hope this membership special offer will encourage operators to join us and enjoy the benefits of being in an organisation whose key purpose is to support them and represent them on issues that matter most to coach
operators running a business in these challenging times. By increasing our membership, we will strengthen our ability to effect change for the good of our membership and the wider coaching industry.”

Darren Curd, Associate Director of Wrightsure, a UKCOA Platinum industry Partner, expresses support for the initiative: “We would encourage any coach operator that is not a member of any trade body to join. We stand alongside it, enabling us to understand the challenges of PSV operations together with advising the membership on key Insurance matters.”
