Volvo Buses has taken an order for 168 intercity coaches from Abu Dhabi's Department of Transport.
It follows a recent order for 373 Volvo city buses for Dubai. When deliveries are complete in Q4 2020, the United Arab Emirates will have a Volvo fleet of nearly 800 vehicles.
The coaches will be on Euro 6 B11R chassis, with Castrosua Magnus E bodies.
Besides the vehicles, the contract with the operators includes a comprehensive maintenance contract.
