Expressway’s new Volvo B8R Sunsundegui SC5 will be used on tour work

Rotherham operator Expressway Coaches has returned to Volvo Bus (02476 210250), this time for a mid-sized B8R with Sunsundegui SC5 body.

“We purchased a B11R 9700 last year and we have been very happy with the driveability and fuel efficiency of that coach,” says MD Peter Regan.

“This time we needed something a little smaller with an on-board toilet to cater for our touring work.

“We had heard good things about the B8R SC5, including some positive feedback on the quality, appearance and operational performance, so we are confident in our decision.”

Expressway Coaches’ new addition, which is 10.3m long, is set to work on a variety of tours that will take it as far as Italy and Spain.
