Who do you rate as the best?

Here’s a simple question: Who do you think is the best minibus, coach or bus operator in the country?

It’s a question that the 2018 routeone Awards – launching today – will answer at our gala presentation dinner on 31 October.

But right now, it’s your chance to have a say in who should be considered by the judges.

Who will be potential award winners at the gala presentation night?

Not only are the Awards unique in recognising and rewarding operator excellence, but also they are by the industry, for the industry.

This means that we ask you, the industry, to nominate those who you believe should be considered for entry.

The only way that an operator can enter the judging process is by being nominated by its peers; and that’s where you come in.

Full details of the categories are on pages 6-9 in this week’s issue, and nominations are now open online. It’s a very simple process, but your input is vital.

Now in its 14th year, the Awards continues to evolve to reflect the changing shape of the industry. That’s led to a slight revision in the operator categories to reflect changes in company sizes.

Significantly, there is new category recognising the year’s ‘rising star’.

This is aimed at identifying a young (under 30) minibus, coach or bus industry professional who has not only impressed the judges with their progress to date but is also showing clear signs of having the potential to take on a leading role. Again, nominations are called for.

The routeone Awards process is one that, out of necessity, ensures that entry information is comprehensive, the judging meticulous and the results credible.

It starts however, with a single step: Your nominations. Please visit www.routeoneawards.com and have your say.
