Bookings have opened for the Coach Tourism Association’s (CTA) Conference and Workshop in Stratford-upon-Avon on 8-11 February 2025.
Open to CTA members, bookings which are made by 31 October will be eligible for a discounted rate. Non-members are welcome to join up and attend.
The event, which last year attracted a record attendance of more than 200 members, will have DFDS as “gold” sponsor and Trust My Travel as “silver” sponsor.
Included on the programme will be a “Meet the Buyer” workshop, which is a series of 10-minute meetings between CTA buyer members, including coach operators and wholesalers, and supplier members, such as hotels, attractions, and service providers. A record 860 meetings took place at this year’s event.
The conference itself will feature a yet-to-be-revealed expert speaker line-up, at which members will have chance to ask questions.
As usual, members will be able to take part in familiarisation trips. As well as visits to Shakespeare sites, the event will also take in the nearby St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry.
Headquarters for the event will be Crowne Plaza Stratfor-upon-Avon with optional pre-event accommodation at Vine Hotels’ Clarion Charlcote Pheasant hotel.
Attendees will be able to enjoy dinner overlooking the Avon at The Rooftop Restaurant at the Royal Shakespeare Company Restaurant.
CTA Chair Robert Shaw says: “The CTA Conference and Workshop has grown to become the sector’s most important event of the year, not just to develop new product, but to push the industry forward in finding ways to overcome shared challenges.
“Following record attendance at the 2024 Conference, and on the back of the forward industry momentum recently reported, we have high hopes that next year’s event will be one of the best yet. Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwickshire have a lot to offer coach groups, and the 2025 Conference is a great occasion to sample the highlights.”
