EPM Bus Solutions, Omnibus Solutions, and 3Squared have been integrated to form Velociti Solutions.

Although the three businesses, which are part of the Velociti Group, underwent a rebranding exercise to reflect the parent company last year, all bus and rail operations will now be operated as one single entity.

It involves a new identity, business name, logo and website.

The integration includes IT, customer support, product management, management and marketing.

Velociti Solutions says the move “strengthens its capability to provide high-quality software solutions internationally across the bus, rail, and transport authority markets”.

The business, owned by Literacy Capital, provides real-time and historical data, with its bus platform offering “before-the-day”, “on-the-day”, and “after-the-day” information.

Jeff Hewit, CEO at Velociti Solutions, says: “Integrating the three well-established and successful businesses and launching as one operation, Velociti Solutions, is an exciting new chapter.

“The bus and rail sectors are both facing common challenges and by bringing together the three businesses we can provide a higher quality service to clients as well as learn from each other.

“It provides the scale needed to work more effectively, develop solutions to meet the future needs of the passenger transport industry, as well as work with Literacy Capital to further our ambitions as we look to expand both organically and through acquisition.”
