Go North East is holding a recruitment day on 3 October at the Metrocentre Coach Park in Gateshead, in the hopes of filling driver vacancies.
As well as giving aspiring drivers the opportunity to get behind the wheel, the company is also looking for engineers with a qualification in automotive engineering at level 3 or above to join its engineering ranks.
Go North East’s in-house training academy means no prior experience is required for driver hopefuls.
Says Stephen King, Commercial Director at Go North East: “Our team will be on hand to talk to people throughout the day, offering advice and giving more background on what it’s like to work for Go North East.
“We hope visitors will get a real sense of what it’s like to work for us – being part of a well-established and respected regional business, that has great opportunities for progression.”
The event will take place between 1000-1400hrs.
