Temsa saw a busy Euro Bus Expo and reports strong availability of new coaches across the MD9 midi and HD12 and HD13 full-size models in 2025.
In 2024 dealership Temsa Sales UK will supply 130 units, and it already has the same number on order for next year. “The next stock order we place for 2025 will break this year’s total,” says Regional Sales Manager Paul Gardner.
The 13m, two-axle HD13 is the strongest seller. Temsa Sales UK Director Kevin Procter notes that major progress has been made since the dealership went live at the start of 2022, and he adds that return business has been particularly strong.
“We are not just about selling a customer the first vehicle; just as important is the second, third, and so on,” says Mr Proctor. “We have been able to scale up support and parts provision, which been of great benefit.” Previous experience of operating coaches is a major factor in that focus on aftersales, he adds.
Two further technicians recently joined the dealer, and it has four field engineers trained by Temsa.
Mr Gardner adds that Temsa Sales UK “is closer to the customer than ever before.” It is continuing to make minor upgrades to the vehicle range. “We describe them as 1% changes, because individually they are not obvious. But when you combine many of them, it makes a big difference.”
Demonstrated on a Temsa HD13 (pictured) at Euro Bus Expo were three of those. Position of the side destination display on PSVAR compliant examples has been improved and it is now integrated into the stretch panel. Entrance steps have wood-effect flooring, and the time and temperature display has become a one-piece integrated unit.
Meanwhile, introduction of a coach with 70 or more seats to the UK by Temsa remains on the agenda, although what that product will look like has not yet been settled on. Further details of any such vehicle will be revealed later.
