Mellor will unveil two additions to its line-up at Euro Bus Expo (EBE), held at the NEC Birmingham between 30 October-1 November, bolstering a range that has already seen significant expansion in the recent past.
The Rochdale bodybuilder and converter is tight-lipped on what the newcomers are, but it says that they represent “the culmination of many months of research, development, testing and trials.”
“We are incredibly excited to be revealing these vehicles to the industry at this year’s EBE. They represent 12 months of hard work and significant investment in our vision for the future,” says MD John Randerson.
In a hint to what the new models may be, Mr Randerson adds that they have been designed to meet bus operators’ increasing demands for more cost-effective and flexible options for a range of routes.
“That, along with higher volume orders for our existing products, has resulted in the need to expand our manufacturing capability. With our new production facility up and running, the next year promises to be a busy one.”
With significant growth of its Miall Street premises, Mellor is able to deliver up to 500 completed vehicles per year to both UK and overseas customers.
